When you feel missed out
One of the worst feeling in life is when you know you can do it and still not given an opportunity.
Something which is very evident through the selection of the Indian team for cricket world cup to be held from Feb19th. There have been so much of hue and cry over many talented players being left out of the squad....and many unfit being taken in. when is my time?
If there's one name which is doing the rounds...
Sreesanth who according to the twitter comment must be in admitted in the cardiology department of any decent hospital. People have come up with huge support for him to be a part of the team and even performing well. Interestingly some say that the Indian Captain Dhoni has been instrumental in keeping Sreesanth out and bringing chawla in. But is this the end of the road to world cup for Sree? God forbid....but Can't there be an injury to any quickie and he can still find his way back....and on top of it what if he just performs well and...I just don't want to imagine the scene....it can't be beautiful with Sree in it..

But it seems there is a challenge in all the ways and suddenly people become important in one's life and what matters the most is the change of fortunes, which is "I BELIEVE IN THE HANDS OF GOD ALMIGHTY"
God's plan is sometimes very amusing and most of the time confusing.....God takes time to mold and to shape...but once when he releases then it does come with a huge return...the problem with most of us is that we are not ready to wait and all the most not ready to learn..In this age of instant coffee and fast food we want everything to be very quick and very fast.
But that is not God's plan...God took 40 years to mold Moses...He went through several experiences before he received the stylish portfolio of the Leader to bring back the people of God. Elisha went under a rigorous training to get the double portion of the Spirit. Timothy learnt under Paul to become the best Pastor..and so on...
The hindi quote sabr ka fal mitha hota is really meaningful...but it is more powerful when you realize that
God's time is the best one..'cause he made the day and night.
Are you waiting for God's time..Can You?

You are a kidnapper...
I was driving back home and heard noises...looked up to realize a school bus full of booming children...may be in their 6th or 7th grade...
It’s a Friday afternoon….. kids are returning home after a long day in the competitive atmosphere of their commercialized schools. I wonder how the driver is able to concentrate on the road….when so much is happening at the back.
They are jumping on one another, screaming, laughing and what else, they look happy and full of life…even after being in school for the whole day.
I am sad because just like many other when they grow up they may also go down on this expressions….they will look for higher studies…better placement….bigger package…. … wealthy spouse and also the so called respect from their society…
They will anesthetize the real soul and wait for some informal occasions….meeting an old friend…. Hearing that favourite song....that old dress……seeing the place where they use to hang out….some family get together…and some other rare occasions..
You must be behind bars…I hold you for kidnapping the real you…..the one who would enjoy every moment…..was so sensible....loved being with people of all types and ages….could eat anywhere from the street….and admire people irrespective of their paycheques.
Why did you do this…?

The CITY is well lit
The city is well lit.....
There’s a sense of celebration all around
They have brought everything that they could
And even what they couldn’t
The city is well lit.....
They have tried to cover their homes with those lighting
They want to cover their agony and the pain,
the disappointment in the hearts and the hurt.
The city is well lit.....
They are even bursting crackers to avoid
The sounds of anguish and the voices of distress
Somehow to go on and go on
The city is well lit.....
With gifts and wrapper being exchanged
They call it the riches to undermine the
Poverty within home and folks
The city is well lit.....
But it is just not well lit
Oh my city, You are not well lit..but they say
The city is well lit.....

Oh my city Oh my city
The author penned this down after coming back
to his city DELHI after a gap of 5 months.
Oh my city Oh my city
How much I missed you
They have made you a village so common
But oh my city you are still mine
There was not a day when I dint think about you
Every moment I thought about you
I prayed for you and missed you more.
Oh my city I just want to be with you.
I left you undone, digged all over
mud and dust flying all over
Those machines ran over you,
as they hurried to get you done
they say you look beautiful now
compared with other cities
but I was in love with you
oh my city the very first moment I saw you.
Many have come, many have gone
You welcomed them and said good bye
Many rated you high and many wrote you low.
But oh my city I know you are far above the ground.
As I stepped in, you kissed me with the breeze
Shivers ran over me and my heart missed the beat
I had this feeling when I left
Oh my city now I am back.

Tell me the wayout
When I was in 6th grade my english teacher asked the class to write a essay on "A scene at the railway station". I and a friend of mine took the liberty to think wild and created a bomb blast at the railway station and injured several. I think I did pass in that exam.
This morning I made a visit to a hospital. Oops just in case you thought I am gonna talk about hi-fi healthcare hopsitals where you have the privilege to abuse the hospital staff due to the power backup (paisa) and insurance policies.
No way I went to a government hospital. Dont worry I am fine. Infact, I took one brother from our church in Dallupura village to get a important vaccination. the reason why I accompanied this 40 yr old is cos He didnt think thats important.
Infact, I took one brother from our church in Dallupura village to get a important vaccination. the reason why I accompanied this 40 yr old is cos He didnt think thats important. we were first startled by a long line. I wondered if some patients would faint even before they got to the window to get their name registered. Along with other hopelessly positivist we also took guard of our positions in the queue which would some day reach at the counter.
The journey started..but i seemed there were many who had a flight to catch. so some jumped the queue and distracted the guards. There was some chaos, many words of felicitation to the hospital and the staff. You got it I know. It was settled, but it would soon rise. and it did. and the same treatment. traditions i guess.
some had the privilege to get under the shed as they hoped to get to the couter asap. some werent lucky. Suddenly we heard a scream..a lady could not take the sun anymore and fainted.
Some very smart and active citizens got round her to calculate her age and sickness. but none dared to pick her up and take her to the emergency ward. some did suggest that including me...I got up to help. but was scared to and embarased to pick a lady. somehow some of her relative arrived at the scene and to the rescue. Now what was next..But i wasnt still out of my inability to help her. I got a opportunity soon...
soon there was some chaos in the public..and I saw many hopping around. It was one animal from the dinosaur family who was scaring the already week patients. It was a lizard and it came to my side. The very brave in me ran to pick a brick nearby and then smashed the visitor from Jurrasic park.
soon a news reached to us that the computers were down..so the counter would run slow. Was it fast ever i thought. Now was the real action. as we draw closer to the window..just as we many were excited. and thus began the survival of the fittest. we had to make sure that none crossed us. and the sweat of several were no more a cause of worry..as we had got adapted.
we reached at the counter and got registered and then to the doc and then out after the vaccination.
I was wondering..my government is spending millions of rupees to make a few guys play and jump around to win few medals and then go back home. But here lies the real India without the basic needs being met.
But isn't the government doing something to take care of the real India. but the population explosion has always left the government behind and to add to the woes, lathargic attitude and the very dear corruption . all other i dont know..but we need to atleast control the population...hum do hamare do wont work..need to cut down..are you listening..else tell me the way out.
