Let's Adjust

My train journey. 20 may 2009

And its another train journey, this time its to home. But does the struggle ends, any way I have got used to it. It had been an amazing trip. The Lord helped us to travel and minister in four states. Starting from tamil nadu to Goa then to karnatka and finally in Kerala. It was indeed a tiring tour, but a indeed an eye opener which I can’t share much.

This train seems to be like any other train which has more passenegers than the seats and more luggage than the capacity. Don’t know whether the driver knows it or not.

Travel in a 2nd class brings the real out of everyone. I got in and soon did many nursing students who just took the compartment with their laughs and giggles. It is a strange feeling to be surrounded by girls, as if you are the last man on earth. The trouble is you feel as if all your movements are being watched. And you even cough in such manner, that you have to tell yourselves twice that you actually coughed. And those stylish looks and trying to give that I am cool look. It wasn’t cool as more friends joined in. and they started taking liberty by moving my luggage. For a moment I thought getting angry can help, but then whats the deal, you gotta travel with them 2 days. So as usual lets adjust. They had luggage as if they were going to settle in an island. Now all over I coud see was bags, bags and more bags, between them sat my sweet and innocent bag, which didn’t know why was he being pushed here and there.

After a few station, we witnessed the entry of two nuns in my kingdom, which was now ruled by many. They too had what you call bags, but it seems they carried the tag sensible. Will they adjust I said, did they hear it. I took guard to see what could be a yelling fest between nuns and almost ladies. But I was wrong as I had been on several occasions. Younger nun opened her mouth and it seemed as honey dipped out of her mouth, with those words which I was forced to do…LETS ADJUST.
Just an evident testimony of why people respect the Christians.
